Are you a former client or volunteer of Citizens Advice in Cheshire West? If so we would love to hear about your memories or anecdotes.

September 2019 will mark the 80th anniversary of the Citizens Advice service. The first Citizens Advice Bureaux were set up at the outbreak of the Second World War, to assist people with the many changes to their lives that this would bring.  Cheshire West Citizens Advice opened its first offices in the district in Northwich and Chester in the week that war was declared and has been a volunteer-led organisation ever since, with volunteers giving their time to provide advice and information to members of their community.

Citizens Advice Cheshire West will be celebrating this special anniversary later in the year, and hopes to hear from anyone who can share memories of either working for or using their local Citizens Advice.

If you have a memory or story you would like to share, please send it to [email protected], or write to Paul Nicholls at Meadow Court, Meadow Street, Northwich CW9 5FP.
