From 6 November, residents will be able to access a wide range of help at a new community hub at Barons Quay.

Every Thursday from 10.00-16.00, a community navigator will welcome visitors and help them to access the support they need.

Welfare Benefits advisors, Employment Directions mentors and a social prescriber will be on site along with digital skills support.

The team will work together to meet people’s needs and to support them to access services not present, either on screen or via supported referral.

This is a partnership project bringing together statutory and community services. The vision is to include more services and local voluntary groups, a small cafe and some on-site activities. The team would love to hear from anyone interested in getting involved.
