Citizens Advice Cheshire West has helped support over 1,500 clients with nearly 3,000 Universal Credit issues since it was introduced. By 2022, more than 7 million households will be receiving it across England and Wales, over half of whom will be in work.  Our clients’ evidence helped us play a key role in persuading the Government to make changes that ensure Universal Credit works for the people who need it most.
